To avoid frozen pipes in the winter, please keep your thermostat at 15 degree Celsius, even if you are away on vacation for a little while. This will avoid further damage to your pipes and problems during the cold season.

Is your furnace not working properly?

  • Check your filter. Filters need to be changed every 3 months, this will keep your furnace running efficiently and save you money on your gas bill.
  • Check the batteries in your thermostat.
  • Check to make sure your furnace switch is on.

Is your smoke detector beeping?

Make sure to first check your batteries, these should be replaced every 6 months.

If you are experiencing any leaks or flooding in your home, make sure to first turn off your water main. This is usually located in the basement, on the wall facing the street. After you turn it off, immediately call the office @ 1-250-564-9794.

If you are experiencing ants or other outside pests, it is important to keep your lawn watered and mowed. Pests like dry soil and tall grass.
